About Me
I started my climbing career while attending the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where I received a degree in Psychology. Since then, I’ve lived and worked in Boulder, Moab, and western North Carolina before settling on Salt Lake City as home.
My climbing has taken me to premier destinations where I got to hone unique skills: friction slab climbing in North Carolina, splitter crack technique in Moab and Indian Creek, long alpine rock objectives in Colorado and British Columbia, as well as big walls in Yosemite Valley. Those experiences have molded me into the well-rounded climber I am today.
I pride myself on being a self-proclaimed rope nerd; I love learning about technical systems so I can move through the mountains faster and with more security. This attention to detail has translated fluidly to guiding. With multiple ways of doing things I can seamlessly adapt to the needs of my students.
