Video Instruction
$30/hour
During 2020 I hosted a number of webinars on climbing topics that interested me. From that, I gained an ability to effectively teach over live video calls. I keep this option available to my students as a lower cost alternative to in-person instruction, as well as for folks who live far from rock climbing destinations.

Itching to get on the rock? Let’s just climb! Leave the planning to me as we select an objective and get after it. While Salt Lake City and the Wasatch Front is my home base, I also travel around the west. The desert towers and splitters around Moab, immaculate granite of City of Rocks, and long routes found in Red Rock Canyon are all options for us as well!
Private Instruction

If you want to maximize your learning, private instruction is for you! You pick the dates, topics, and pace while we learn in a more personalized setting. These days are more flexible than clinics since it’s just you and me out there! Together we can shape the curriculum to meet your exact needs so you can gain skills as fast and efficiently as possible.
Canyoneering
$750/person for 3 days
Truly the best way to experience the unique landscape of Utah, my canyoneering excursions take you right into the heart of canyon country. Hanksville, Utah serves as home base as we explore the sandstone slots of the North Wash. Either stay in town or join me while we sleep under the stars. Each day we’ll select a handful of canyons based on your skill level and interests. We’ll rappel, climb, slide, and swim through spectacular scenery all while being challenged psychically and mentally as well. There are a wide array of options available for us nearly any preference can be accommodated.
Portaledge Experiences
Starting at $125
Portaledge picnic - $125/person, max 3
Enjoy lunch on a ledge! I’ll go over the basics of rope ascension and how to securely move around on a portaledge. After that, settle in for a meal with a view, all while dangling off the side of a cliff! Food provided.
Combo climb and dinner - $250/person, max 2
Climb a short multi-pitch route and arrive to your reserved table in the sky. A classic big waller dinner will be waiting for you on a portaledge near the summit. When you're finished, top out the route and make your way down to the base.
Overnight portaledge camping and climbing- $600/solo, $1000/couple
Experience a taste of the big stone close to home! Climb a few pitches in Little Cottonwood Canyon, then sleep out under the stars while suspended on a portaledge on the side of the cliff. I’ll give you the low-down on vertical camping, then leave you so you get the full experience all to yourself. Don't worry, I’ll sleep nearby and be only a radio call away!
